I am really disliking painting right now.
Takes too much time and patience (both of which I'm , unfortunately, lacking). I have a Comics and Digital Drawing class and they are really fun!
I want to focus on those 2 class mostly. Comics, so I can learn how to layout a visual narrative more effectively and to push past my comfort zone in perspective. Digital Drawing, because it helps me understand the human figure more better and helps build my speed.
Painting, I get, helps you understand the forms of objects and colors. They enable me to understand mood, atmosphere, perspective, etc wayy better. But, as it is, I want to be a comic artist so, of course, I'm more inclined to focus more on what will help me tell a story visually better. Mannn...

Back to Art!
Its the start of a new semester and its time for me to get back into art!
My winter break was boring, a few eventful things here and there. My Christmas came and went. Don't you notice how Christmas, every year, goes by faster and faster and doesn't feel like Christmas anymore?
Plus, I didn't draw much over the break. I did make a Secret Santa drawing for this white elephant gift exchange, but that was the extent of my drawing efforts.
So I'm kinda rusty but a few of my classes are really helping work the kinks out. I noticed how I'm getting better at using the models as reference and drawing the human figure, both male and female. My dra
New School Year and A Fresh Start
So I started my 3rd semester at Academy of Art University recently. Same old, same old.
But I started with a different mindset. I look at my Illustration profession differently now.
Now, with more passion and understanding.
I'm more determined this time around to improving my skills and learning more as I can.
More determined and this time, more so committed.
I posted some recent sketches I've done. I'm doing more sketches now to practice and practice like I should have been doing since forever, haha.

Summer Activities!
Nope. I have not been artistically active! I've done about 3 drawings only.
I will be posting them soon.
I don't know. I just feel like I have this artist block right now.
Plus I get really, really, really, and I mean really lazy.
I hope this laziness and block is over soon. I want to draw!

The semester has ended for me! yay!
no more procrastination and no more stressing!
a good semester. learned alot of things. I just wish I was more focused and less lazy. I could have done more better. If I get a bad grade in my Figure Drawing class, it all me. None but my own fault. Mannn!
But Summer beckons!
